However, the main star of their estate, located in \u00c9pernay, has always been chardonnay. 99.2% of the 65 hectares of vineyards are of the Grand Cru denomination, including sites in the C\u00f4te des Blancs &#8211; Cramant and Avize.<\/p>\n<p>This cuv\u00e9e is inspired by the historic Blason de France Brut (1955-1990), Perrier-Jou\u00ebt\u2019s first prestige bottling, which was made in partnership with Relais &amp; Chateau, and offered only in the finest restaurants worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>Perrier-Jou\u00ebt Belle Epoque Blanc de Blancs was first introduced in 1998 by Cellar Master Herv\u00e9 Deschamps to celebrate the upcoming new Millenium.<\/p>\n<p>The first vintage released was the 1993. The grapes for this wine are harvested from two iconic vineyard sites, the Bourbons-Leroy and the Boutons-de-Midi.<\/p>\n<p>The vineyards have a south\/southeast exposure, which are ideal ripening conditions, giving the wine its unmistakable terroir.<\/p>\n<p>This is a 2012 vintage expression.<\/p>\n<div id=\"tab-label-notes\" class=\"data item title active\" tabindex=\"0\" role=\"tab\" aria-labeledby=\"tab-label-notes-title\" data-role=\"collapsible\" data-collapsible=\"true\" aria-controls=\"notes\" aria-selected=\"true\" aria-expanded=\"true\">\n<h2>Tasting Notes<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"notes\" class=\"data item content\" role=\"tabpanel\" data-role=\"content\" aria-labelledby=\"tab-label-notes\" aria-hidden=\"false\">\n<div class=\"product attribute tasting-note\">\n<div class=\"value\">Bright, shimmering gold with subtle glints of green.
