About The Macallan Harmony Collection Smooth Arabica Single Malt Scotch Whisky
The Macallan Harmony Collection is a limited series of annual releases that focus on sustainability. Harmony I celebrates the world of chocolate (and whisky!) through a collaboration with Jordi Roca and Casa Cacao, while Harmony II explores the world of coffee.
Five coffee experts collaborated with The Macallan Whisky Maker Steven Bremner, coming up with 2 expressions: Intense Arabica and Smooth Arabica. Smooth Arabica is a unique single malt that had Bremner delve deep into the art of coffee, resulting in a whisky with delicious ground coffee, hazelnut, and vanilla notes.
The whisky that was matured in sherry-seasoned American & European oak casks is designed to pair well with coffee as well as popcorn ― the latter being a staple of the Ethiopian coffee ritual that inspired this release.
